Meet Tamara Fernandez, our Executive Director at Oakmont of El Dorado Hills.
Tamara Fernandez comes to Oakmont of El Dorado Hills with nearly a decade of experience in senior living. Having held a number of positions, from Marketing Director to Regional Programs Director, Tamara has extensive experience managing various parts of a senior living community. When asked what drew her to this line of work, Tamara says, “I have always wanted to be in a job where I was making a difference in people’s lives. I love getting to know our residents. Providing an exceptional experience for them is what makes my job fulfilling.”
With her impressive background, Tamara could work for any senior living company. When we asked her why she chose Oakmont, she says, “Oakmont consistently exceeds expectations by offering a luxurious resident experience in a resort-style setting. Tamara moved to the area in 2007. When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her two dogs and her husband. They are often cheering on the Oakland Raiders and the Golden State Warriors.
